Today, Chief Manak also presented the #vicpdcivicserviceaward to Wilson & Gideon. Wilson, a store’s loss prevention officer was stabbed by a violent suspect he had stopped upon leaving the store. He took the suspect into custody & self-applied a belt as a tourniquet. Gideon and two other men came to Wilson’s aid, even though they knew the danger they were putting themselves in. #yyj #yyjheroes
